Overview

What are residential proxies?

A residential proxy routes your requests through IP addresses that internet service providers assign to home connections, so websites see ordinary residential traffic instead of a hosting provider.

On AptProxy residential is traffic-based, not per IP. You buy a package (11 sizes from 1 GB to 1,000 GB) and every list you create draws on that traffic. A list picks the country, optionally a region, city or ISP, the rotation and the number of ports.

City-level targeting shows search results the way local users see them in each market you track.

Market and price research

Check how product pages, prices and availability look from different countries.

Data collection for AI

Traffic packages scale with collection jobs: pick the package size that fits the workload.

FAQ

Residential proxy FAQ

More questions? Email support@aptproxy.com.

How is residential proxy traffic billed?

You buy a traffic package (1 GB to 1,000 GB) from your wallet. The lists you create use that traffic. Each package is valid for 30 days, and unused traffic expires with it. When it runs out or expires, buy another package to continue.

Do residential packages renew automatically?

No. Residential packages are never auto-renewed. Buy a new package when you need more traffic.

Can I target a specific city or ISP?

Yes. Each list targets one of 25 countries and can optionally narrow to a region, city or ISP. Leave them blank for any location in the country.

Which rotation options are available?

Rotate on every request, keep a sticky IP, or rotate on a timer of 1, 5, 10, 30 or 60 minutes. Rotation is set per list.

Do residential proxies support SOCKS5?

Yes. HTTP(S) and SOCKS5 are both accepted on the same port, so use whichever protocol your tool supports.

How many lists and ports can I create?

Currently up to 10 lists per account and up to 500 ports per list.
